Founded first formal child and adolescent mental health services in Bangladesh have expanded it
Developed Mental Health Services by individual and institutional initiatives and advocacy

Research

Have more than 125 research papers both in general psychiatry and child psychiatry published nationally and internationally.
Conducted the first child psychiatric epidemiological study in Bangladesh, the findings of which have a substantial impact on child psychiatric services.
Have diverse research paper on general adult psychiatry and almost all the subspecialties in psychiatry, chiefly on depression, somatization, obsession, autism, stressors.
Have extensive research works in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry including developing culturally adaptable scales, cross cultural variation of disorders, risk and resiliency, psychopathology, and interventions.
Proposed a baseline concept of a model of Mental Health Services in developing world in several occasions that has been appreciated by the regional and international community.
Presented papers on several occasions at national, regional, and international forum.
